is the Welsh national holiday, and the feast of a kinsman of the O'Filons, so important to their noble and royal ancestors in the Irish Kingdom of Decies (i.e., County Waterford and vicinity) that even a couple centuries after the line of descent divided between Ireland and South Wales, tradition says St. Declan of Ardmore, another kinsman of the O'Filons and Enlightener of his tribe, visited with St. David. (Though as you can see from the repose dates of David, not all the traditions agree!)
