Some Icons May Be An Acquired 'Taste'

DISCLAIMER: I am not a priest, monk, or spiritual father. These postings are not intended to be your only source on Orthodoxy. Always consult a priest or spiritual father/mother before acting on much of what you read here. Posts are also subject to my own development in the Faith! Also, you might find it interesting to read the blog from the beginning, since some of my posts are part of a continuing conversation around some things that have been very important to me in coming to Orthodoxy. Finally, sometimes Comments lead to interesting "tangents," so you might want to check them out even if the main topic doesn't interest you.
